I’m Adele. I know, love, and live in Saskatoon. My passion is helping local people and businesses develop beautifully written and designed communications that stand out from their competitors. My mission is to bring the stories of Saskatoon people and brands to the wonderful people who call this city home. Whether it is a feature story for the University of Saskatchewan, a jazzed-up guide for Nutrien Wonderhub, or web content for a local business, my goal is to uncover the voice of your brand and to use it to deliver content that is meaningful to our community.

MY STORY

After almost ten years of working in education, I decided to repurpose my skills into freelance writing. I began as editor at Family Fun Saskatoon Inc. where I was vital in building the brand from the ground up. Over the course of my 5 years there, I was lucky enough to combine the three loves of my life: family, writing, and my hometown of Saskatoon. In the years since then, I have honed my craft and expanded my writing pursuits to include magazine writing, content creation, social media management, ad copy, and web design. In April 2021, I completed the Post-Graduate Communications—Professional Writing program at Centennial College in Toronto where I was able to dig deep into the art and science of successful communication in the digital age. In this program, I expanded my portfolio to include technical communications, plain language, policy and procedure writing, and visual design.
